Better quality,
fewer bits.
AI video enhancement and in-house ASIC-accelerated encoding. Quality, compression efficiency, and real-time latency in one pass — starting with a single card.

No proprietary formats — industry standards only. You can adopt Lemonflex while keeping your existing players, CDN, and workflow in place.
Measured in production
At matched quality, AI preprocessing encodes with 30–50% fewer bits on average. Storage and CDN costs drop accordingly.
A single ALVEO U250 card handles multi-channel 4K real-time encoding concurrently.
Scale across multiple cards to cover 8K and high-volume traffic workloads.
In-house ASIC logic holds sub-frame latency, far below what GPU pipelines achieve.
Move your video pipeline up a level
Two core product lines — Enhance and Encoding — cover everything from quality restoration to compression and real-time delivery.
AI video Enhance
Restore and upscale footage degraded by low resolution, noise, or compression artifacts. Works on live, VOD, and archive content alike.
- +Super-resolution upscaling (HD→4K / 4K→8K)
- +Denoise · deblur · deblock
- +HDR and color grading enhancement
- +ALVEO U250 accelerated real-time or batch

AI video Encoding
AI preprocessing paired with in-house ASIC logic delivers better quality at fewer bits, plus the low latency live delivery demands.
- +AI preprocessing maximizes compression efficiency
- +In-house ASIC for H.264 / HEVC / AV1
- +Low-latency real-time live delivery
- +30–50% average savings at matched quality
AI handles compression, ASIC handles latency
The Lemonflex encoding pipeline works along two axes. AI allocates bits where they matter most; the ASIC encodes them as fast as possible.
AI preprocessing × ASIC encoding
Before frames reach the ASIC encoding path, an AI model separates what viewers notice from what they do not. Removing noise while preserving detail means the same perceived quality costs fewer bits.
In-house ASIC × sub-frame latency
Encoding ASIC logic implemented on the ALVEO U250 keeps latency far below GPU pipelines. It drops straight into live broadcast, video conferencing, cloud gaming, and teleoperation workloads.
ALVEO U250 with video AI etched in
Every video pipeline runs on the AMD ALVEO U250 data center accelerator. Consolidating AI models and ASIC encoding logic onto one card delivers throughput and power efficiency well beyond CPU or GPU.

- +AI preprocess + ASIC encode unifiedBoth stages run on the same card, minimizing memory bandwidth and latency.
- +Standard codec compatibleH.264, HEVC, and AV1 are supported as-is — industry standards only.
- +Scalable multi-channelMulti-channel 4K per card; add cards for 8K and high-volume traffic.

From validation to production, in stages
Nothing changes all at once. We validate on your real content, confirm stability on a subset of channels, then migrate. Every stage leaves documented output.
Define requirements
We map your current workflow, channel count, target quality and latency, and security requirements — then agree on the metrics that define success.
- Current-state analysis
- Target metric definition
- Candidate configurations
Validate on real content
We measure bitrate, VMAF, and latency on your actual content, running in parallel with your existing encoder so the delta is a number, not a claim.
- Measurement report (VMAF · bitrate · latency)
- Before / after samples
- Recommended profiles
Run a subset of channels
Before full migration, a subset of channels goes into real operation. We confirm stability and operational load, and finish tuning.
- Operational design document
- Monitoring and alerting setup
- Handover documentation
Full migration & operation
Channels migrate in stages and operation moves onto an SLA basis. Regular reviews keep profiles and configuration optimized.
- SLA agreement
- Scheduled performance reviews
- Dedicated support channel
Timelines and scope adjust to channel count and environment.

Ask about SLA detailsQuestions we hear before adoption
The questions that come up most during evaluation. Anything not covered here, we answer directly in a technical meeting.
Request a technical meetingUnder what conditions were the performance figures measured?
The bitrate savings shown on this site are internal measurements against a software encoder while holding VMAF constant; quality-gain figures are measured on identical content at identical bitrates. Because the margin varies with content complexity, we provide a report measured on your own content during PoC.
Do we have to replace all of our encoding equipment?
No. We recommend running a subset of channels in parallel to compare quality and bitrate, then migrating in stages. Because output is a standard codec, your players, CDN, and packager stay as they are.
Can on-premises and cloud be used together?
Yes. They share the same engine and the same API, so the common arrangement handles steady-state traffic on-premises and bursts peak traffic to the cloud. Profiles validated on-premises apply to cloud unchanged.
Our content must not leave our network. Is that possible?
With on-premises deployment, content and traffic never cross your network boundary. Licensing uses an offline file, so operation in an air-gapped network requires no external communication.
How long does adoption take?
A typical timeline is 1–2 weeks to define requirements, 2–4 weeks for PoC, and 4–8 weeks for a pilot. Smaller card-only deployments are faster; large channel migrations take longer. Tell us your target date and we will work backwards from it.
Do we need a proprietary codec or a dedicated player?
No. Output is H.264, HEVC, or AV1 only, packaged as HLS, DASH, or CMAF. No vendor lock-in is created, and you can revert to another encoder at any time.
How is pricing determined?
On-premises pricing is based on card or appliance quantity and SLA tier; cloud pricing on processing resolution and duration in minutes. Tell us your channel count and expected volume and we will prepare a quote.
