AI Video Enhance
Sharper, cleaner.
Restore and upscale footage degraded by low resolution, noise, or compression artifacts. Live, VOD, and archive content all run through ALVEO U250 acceleration, in real time or as a batch.

AI Video Enhance at a glance
Super-resolution
HD to 4K, 4K to 8K. The model reconstructs detail that was lost.
Noise and artifact removal
Compression damage, low-light noise, and blocking are cleaned up.
HDR and color
Wider dynamic range and richer color raise perceived quality.
Real-time acceleration
Inline ALVEO U250 processing handles both live and batch work.
Production-scale performance
Quality improvement measured per resolution on identical source content.
How it works
Understand the scene, reconstruct detail, then stabilize across time.
Scene analysis
Per-frame content and regions of interest drive restoration strength dynamically.
Detail reconstruction
Edges, textures, and surfaces are rebuilt from learned priors.
Temporal stabilization
Frame-to-frame consistency keeps the result free of flicker.
Against the conventional approach
The same outcome, at a different cost.
Where it applies
What problem gets solved, and how.
Bringing SD and HD archives back into rotation
Decades of SD and HD tape assets sit unused because they fall short of 4K-oriented programming and OTT catalog standards.
Batch-upscale the archive while selectively removing film grain and compression damage, with restoration strength tuned per title so the original texture survives.
- +Existing assets enter a 4K catalog without reshooting
- +Per-scene strength control preserves original character
- +Batch processing works through large catalogs steadily
Making low-light surveillance footage readable
Footage shot at night or in dim interiors is too noisy to review after the fact, and storage limits push bitrates down, which makes it worse.
Apply denoising and detail restoration inline to reach a readable image, then pass the improved frames straight into encoding so bitrate drops too.
- +Low-light segments become reviewable
- +Preprocessing cuts bitrate at matched quality
- +Large channel counts run concurrently on one card
Holding quality through fast motion
Sports footage with heavy panning and rapid movement suffers motion blur and compression artifacts at the same time, degrading the viewing experience.
Temporal stabilization restores detail without flicker, while ROI analysis concentrates bits on the field and the players.
- +Stable results with no frame-to-frame flicker
- +ROI-driven bit allocation holds quality where it matters
- +Applies inline within the live pipeline

Frequently asked questions
Anything not covered here, we answer in a technical meeting.
If detail is invented, does the original get distorted?
Restoration strength is adjustable. For security or medical use where fidelity to the source matters, we apply a conservative denoise-oriented preset; for entertainment content where viewing quality leads, a more assertive restoration preset. Automatic adjustment based on scene analysis is also available.
How is the quality improvement verified?
We provide quantitative reports across PSNR, SSIM, and VMAF. During PoC we measure on your actual content and deliver the metrics alongside before/after samples. Our internal figures are measured on identical content at identical bitrates.
Does applying this to live add delay?
The Enhance stage adds a few milliseconds, but because encoding continues on the same card there is no PCIe round trip. End to end, the pipeline stays within sub-frame range.
Is the effect the same on all content?
No. The gain is largest on low-quality sources with significant noise and compression damage. Content already shot and mastered at high quality improves less. Send us a sample and we will measure the expected effect first.
How fast is batch processing?
It depends on resolution and which modules are enabled. Tell us the catalog size and target completion date and we will calculate the number of cards required.
